As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, she offers families evidence-based care and support for common to complex infant feeding challenges. Her holistic, goals-based approach to lactation support is informed by her background in midwifery and doula work both domestically and internationally, and her work as a Reproductive Health Educational Consultant at Duke and UNC School of Medicine.

Grace has extensive training and experience with complex feeding issues—including but not limited to Tethered Oral Tissue (tongue, lip and buccal ties), cardiorespiratory disorders, endocrine disorders, and enteral feeding support—and works closely with pediatricians, midwives, osteopaths, ENTs and other providers to help families achieve optimal feeding.

IBCLC CANDIDATE 2025

Guramrit LeBron, CLC, lactation counselor looks down at a baby smiling.
  • Guramrit (she/her) is a Certified Lactation Counselor, in addition to being a birth/postpartum doula and co-owner of Ashe Birthing Services and the co-founder of The Bridge Directory.

After studying Magazine Journalism at Syracuse University, Guramrit spent years working at various publications, including Parenting Magazine, before transitioning into marketing. During this time, she also completed training as a holistic health counselor while publishing her first cookbook, Yogi Eats. Through her interactions her with her audience and clients,  she became involved in birth work. Regardless of the industry, each path shared the common denominator of amplifying the voices of families in under-served communities, especially in New York City and throughout New York State.

Nurturing, educating, and uplifting families during transformational moments are essential to her work as both a doula and a lactation counselor. Her commitment to this has only been deepened by becoming a mother to a son and daughter. Through their breastfeeding journeys, Guramrit was inspired to seek additional training and mentoring in Tethered Oral Tissues (TOTs) and airway health.

When not working with patients, Guramrit is pursuing a master's degree in Infant + Maternal Nutrition with a focus on a holistic approach to pregnancy, postpartum, and infant/toddler feeding. Guramrit is International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) Candidate for Fall 2024 and is the recipient of the Fall 2023 IBCLC Education Scholarship from the US Lactation Consultants Association.
